Captain Underpants Sign Changing Game

IMG-0100 (1)

Based on the popular book series and movie, this is a game that has fun with words all while honoring the humorous spirit of the original source material. The game lets kids laugh when they win a piece of the prankster pieces, learn how to change words, and how to laugh as each person hopes to get the right tile to make a winning combination. This game is for older slightly older children to play together or with their parents but younger children may struggle with vocabulary and the smaller pieces.

Hoot Owl Hoot

IMG-0101 (1)

Hoot Owl Hoot! is a fun, cooperative for the whole family. The game is colorful and contains a variety of larger-size tokens for little hands. The concept is simple–the sun is rising and all of the owls have to get home before sunrise. The family works together to get all of the owls home using colored cards to move them. Sometimes the sun gets moved instead. This is a great game to teach critical thinking, associations, and how fun it can be to cooperate. A great game for families and friends.

Let Us Build, Let Us Play: Hansel & Gretel

IMG-0104 (1)

The “Let Us Build, Let Us Play” series is a game combining reading and building. Parents and children can read the story and build the story as they go, adding stairs, lollipop decorations, and changing the house as the story changes. While the ‘game’ does not result in a clear win/lose scenario, it allows parents and kids to build the story as they go and get to a satisfying ending. Everyone wins. This game is wonderful because it allows kids to interact with the story and to play while they learn.

Race to the Treasure!

IMG-0103 (1)

Race to the Treasure! is a cooperative game that involves critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Together a group of people builds paths to get keys to exit the area while trying to stop the ogres from winning. Players use “pathway” titles to build roads to the keys and to the exit all while trying to play collaboratively to beat the ogres and win the game. Cooperative games teach children how everyone wins or loses, everyone benefits from working together and discussing their decisions, and leads to a fun game without the conflict of some children learning. It is a wonderful game with rich colors, large pieces, and easy to digest instructions.
